25/9/19 Enjoy a special 15% autumn discount on Axon S205/215 and S505/515 controllers
One of the defining traits of the Axon S product line of programmable logic controllers is its compact size of only 4 DIN modules (70×90×60 mm) combined with functionality on par with much larger controllers. Axon S205/215 and S505/515, a perfect example of this combination, can be now purchased with a special autumn discount!
From the 25th September to 2nd October 2019, you can purchase S205/S215 and S505/S515 controllers with a 15% discount.
Axon S205/215
The S205/215 models feature 8 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs for a total of 16 I/Os. This I/O number gives them functionality on part with larger Axon M controllers while retaining the Axon S compact size. Both the S205 and the S215 have the same I/O architecture; the only difference between them is the 1-Wire bus being replaced by a single RS232 serial interface on the S215. Digital inputs of these controllers can be used for collecting data from various digital sensors or switches like lighting switches, motion sensors, water level sensor (empty tank/full tank detection) etc. Relay outputs then serve for switching various two-state devices with higher power draw such as light bulbs, water heaters, pumps, or larger external relays.

Axon S505/515
S505 and S515 both feature 4 analogue inputs and 4 analogue outputs. Analogue inputs can be used to read data from corresponding sensors such as resistance thermometers, tensometers or pressure meters. Analogue outputs are then suitable for incremental control of various multi-state devices (three-way valves, heat exchangers, electric motors etc.) via direct voltage. As on S205/S15 models, the S505 and S515 differ only by the 1-Wire bus being replaced by an RS232 serial interface on the S515.
