A customer from China used Unipi Neuron S103 (Raspberry Pi 4) controllers to create a test station used for the education of mechatronics.
Sinneo is a Chinese developer and provider of software and hardware for industrial automation. The company offers automation solutions for a wide range of fields, from automotive to pharmaceutics. One of the company’s projects is a test set designed for mechatronics lessons at a public university in Suzhou.
The set is used in a mechatronics lab and is based on Unipi Neuron S103 (Raspberry Pi 4). The controller runs the Node-RED open-source platform. Laboratory equipment, consisting mainly of various servo-controlled motion applications, is connected to the PLC via Ethernet. Students are tasked to monitor the laboratory equipment and analyse its operation according to historical data.
